Our History

In the early 1970's, the VanderKaay family emigrated from Holland to the St. Catharines area, Ontario's Garden City. There, we began to build a reputation for providing consistent quality products by combining our four generations of Dutch horticultural know-how with north American technology.

Although stemming from humble beginnings, Garden City has grown to a family of dedicated employees, whose goal is to service our customers the best we can. Our production space has now flourished to over 500,000 square feet with four expert production growers on site.
